- Anchoring of the HSE awareness at all levels in our organization
- Functional lead of local HSE specialists and develop safety culture throughout our Region Central and Eastern Europe
- Plan and support implementation of HSE initiatives, campaigns, trainings in the Region
- Guidance, coordination and follow up with our plants to ensure compliance with health and safety frameworks and policies, including HSE controlling, methods, processes, international & ALPLA HSE standards
- Execution of risk analysis and development of safety instructions, procedures and guidelines according to the identified risks
- Provide guidance and orientation on incident investigations and technical advice in diverse HSE topics
- Close collaboration with other functional departments (e.g. operations, supply chain, quality, plant engineering, HR) and hierachies (corporate, region, plant) to set up a safety mindset
- Regular reporting of the HSE KPIs and performance to the regional and corporate management team
What makes you great
- Technical or engineering background and/or recognized certification as safety professional
- Over 4 years working experience in an industrial environment within an HSE role
- Experience in risk assessment and problem solving methodology
- Excellent communication skills, team work oriented and ability to manage various stakeholders
- Self- driven and result oriented
- Knowledge of standards ISO 14001 and 45001
- IOSH or NEBOSH certifications are considered as an asset
- Proficient in written and spoken English
- Willingness to travel
